KENOSHA KINGFISH
During the Summer of 2018 I worked as the in-house graphic designer for the Kenosha Kingfish baseball team. The Kingfish are the Kenosha extension of the Northwoods Baseball collegiate summer baseball league. It was my job to edit and produce content for the Public Relations and Marketing Departments that were then put in use on the team’s official website and social media accounts. I also had to create content that fit inside already established brand guidelines.
I worked closely with the General Manager and Director of Marketing to ensure that all sponsorship and advertising contracts were fulfilled through the creation of sponsor graphics, player stat cards, and digital media. I also operated the team’s full color outfield video board for all 36 home games and special events during the summer. I produced nearly all of the digital media that was displayed on the board including player cards, live video, and sponsor graphics. For special events I was also tasked with creating specialty content that had to be designed to reflect that promotional night's theme. One of my favorite things that I got to do was to redesign each team's player cards for when they went up to bat. Using Photoshop, I got to manipulate everyone's head shots into characters from Harry Potter, Star Wars, and WWE.
