The cover layout for this magazine is inspired by the personality of a celebrity. The celebrity that was chosen is David Bowie because I was drawn to the idea of being able to use bright and bold visuals to communicate his larger than life personality.

I took two different approaches to my cover design: the first used bold primary colors, a halftone texture, and a duo-tone image. The second cover was inspired by Andy Warhol and the Pop Art movement that Bowie was associated with. The cover features the same image of Bowie treated in nine different duo-tone effects and then tiled together like a Warhol print.
